Cliff

The words dangle,
scramble about.

Couplets and quatrains
remain.

For what is left
of the jump.

Evening

stars bright,
in the night,

Eyes glaring,
music faint,but blaring.

streetlights lit,
don't know what your gonna get,

with dark,
all around you.

A hassel.

On our family check.

Barrier

The heaviness
against my chest,
my heart,stopped.
The light
upon me.

I have hit
the barrier.

Cozy,

comforting,

unrealistic,

homey.

a place to turn to.

Blanketing me.

-Hollister

Autumn leaves

color,
almost,

too much.

Jabbing you,

almost to the point,
to go blind,

you can't capture it,

it's that elusive figure hiding in the corner.

But from memory,

it's held captive.

Snow

Tune in Tune Out

As I walk away,
I tune in to listen.
I hear the bull charge,
as he passes, the clothes line sways.
The dew on the grass starts to glisten.
Standing tall as orders from a sarge.
and there stands pop,
remaining to wait,
in death,
silence.

True Colors

Red,White, and Blue all mean something.

Red tells us we have earned our respect.

White says,we are free.

Blue states, we are strong.

We are America.

Coquina shells

little creatures,

hiding.
From what?

who knows.

they dig in the moist sand to a
world we have yet unvailed.

with their shells painted as if angels
had the smallest detail incripted.

Only an artist,
could wish for
that gift.
